particle size analysis for automated milling controlThis video shows how Malvern Instruments Insitec particle size snalyzer is used to control and automate a milling process. Malvern's Insitec systems measure: Particle size distributions from 0.1 to 1000µm In Wet or Dry Environments In-line: Sensor can be placed in a process line measuring the entire stream of flowing material to conduct the analysis without any disruption to the product flow. On-line: Sampler, disperser and optics are outside the production line but close and directly coupled. The sampler takes either continuously or with high frequency a representative sample and feeds it through the disperser and the optics. After the measurement the sample is returned to the process line or another collection system. At-line: The analysis can be done on samples which the operator brings to the analyzer or samples that are taken from the production by a customer existing sampling method. At-line systems are often integrated into robotic laboratories. Mobile solutions: Can be use in any of these three categories (in, at and on-line) |
